Founded in 2007, Olymsus Summer Camp has been successfully held for 20 consecutive years!

Camp Mission

To enrich the summer vacation of primary and secondary school students at home and abroad, improve tennis skills, foster sports interest and unlock athletic potential. We let campers enjoy tennis in a professional and joyful atmosphere, and enhance their independence and self-confidence through collective life.

Camp Format

Fully closed management with 24/7 security monitoring; meals and accommodation at Songjiang University Town camp base (nutritionist-prepared meals, standard rooms with air conditioners, electronic mosquito repellents, private bathrooms).

Group responsibility system and semi-military management: Counselors supervise all training, study and daily activities by group around the clock.

Besides professional tennis training, various ball sports courses are offered based on campers' interests, along with academic tutoring and featured Chinese-international cultural exchange activities.

Curriculum Arrangement

Focusing on tennis training, the camp includes classroom instruction and travel activities.

Campers are divided into beginner, intermediate, advanced and specialized classes based on physical fitness and technical proficiency, with personalized teaching for each camper. Complementary physical fitness training improves speed, agility, endurance, flexibility, strength and coordination—essential for tennis, and cultivates team spirit in collective activities. Senior coaches and a professional team adopt professional and open teaching methods to unlock potential, teach students in accordance with their aptitude and integrate education with fun.

Travel activities broaden horizons and build friendships; cultural exchange activities expose domestic campers to diverse cultures and historical backgrounds.

Camp Advantages

1. Proven Experience: Diverse, engaging programs integrating knowledge and fun, with a strong track record of organizing youth activities. Hundreds of international teenagers have participated since 2007, with high re-registration rates.

2. Elite Coaching Team: Head Coach Liu, a retired provincial professional tennis player with outstanding national competition results, has served as assistant coach of the provincial team, head coach of Liaoning Tennis School, assistant coach and head coach of the Chinese National Youth Tennis Team (his students won national doubles championships and singles semi-finals). He is a guest commentator for international tennis events, a special coach for Tennis World magazine, a national referee of the Chinese Tennis Association and an ITF-certified coach, and has exchanged training skills with Roger Federer. The team also includes retired provincial players, professional graduates with ITF/PTR certifications, and former national youth team coaches.

3. Renowned Tennis Club Resource: Olymsus Tennis Training Center is a well-known tennis club in Shanghai, combining theory and practice to develop tailored teaching methods for different ages and learning goals, quickly fostering or improving campers' tennis interest and skills.

4. Ideal Camp Base: Songjiang University Town features first-class sports facilities (tennis courts, basketball gyms, swimming pools, etc.), beautiful scenery and a fresh campus atmosphere, letting campers experience university life in advance.

• Quota: 40 campers (grouped by age and technical proficiency)

• Admission: Limited vacancies, first-come-first-served
